Easter Festivities

Bailey and me on the hike. Glad it wasn't any hotter.

Sam sharing her Easter eggs with Ella.

Sam playing with "E" (one of the twins).

R & E ----more kids for Sam to play with.

Sam's second Easter was quite busy, but also relaxing. We started the day with a hike in Bent Creek. We came home and ate "" PB & J for lunch, which is Samantha's favorite. While Sam napped Joseph and I worked on the foundation/platform for our future shed. Joseph joined us for the last few measurements, sawing, and nailing and then played with Ella.

Have I mentioned we lucked out in the neighbor department once again??? Our Mississippi-NY couple next door invited us over for dinner. Their 17-month old identical twin grand daughters were there. Sam doesn't quite know how to handle the twins. She is a bit afraid of them. She's probably like, "what the heck is going on here. It's two against one, and the two look like each other." Hopefully she'll get used to playing with them.

We had a great Easter and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather and the home-cooked Easter dinner.

The Asheville Influence

Sam ready to hop on a Harley....wearing one of the dog's bandanas.

Molly & Sam watering the plants.

Molly gladly sharing her sandbox with Samantha.

Here are a few pics of Sam. One with her friend, Molly, who's 3 weeks older. Molly has the sandbox and Sam has the swingset. it's worked out well. This weekend I sewed a guitar on a t-shirt for Sam. I had to remind myself how to wind a bobbin and how to thread my machine. Wish I had more time for sewing and other crafty activities.
